How to Measure the Width & Depth of a Shower Stall

The standard size for a shower stall is about 32 inches by 32 inches, according to Log Homes. When remodeling your bathroom, you need to know the exact size of your bathroom's shower stall so you can purchase a new stall of the same size.

• Measuring tape

Instructions

1. Stand inside the shower stall and pull out the measuring tape.

2. Hold one end of the tape to the side of the shower stall next to the door and pull out the tape in a straight line until you reach the wall right across from the first wall. That number is the width of your shower stall.

3. Hold the measuring tape to the door of your shower stall and pull it back until you reach the wall parallel to the door. That number is the depth of your shower stall.
