How to Remove Walbro Needle & Seat
Removing the Walbro carburetor needle and seat is a job you can do in less than an hour. The parts are small and delicate, so removing them must be done with care and patience, but can be accomplished without too much trouble. The needle and seat fit underneath the needle valve lever assembly on the side of the carburetor, with the needle sitting parallel to the base of the carburetor. Does this Spark an idea?

Locate the needle valve lever assembly on the side of the Walbro carburetor.

Pry the needle valve close spring away from the needle valve lever gently with a small standard screwdriver and remove the spring.

Take the needle valve lever out of the Walbro carburetor with a pair of needle nose pliers.

Lift the needle valve that sits under the needle valve lever out of the carburetor with the needle nose pliers.

Take the needle valve seat out of the Walbro carburetor with the needle nose pliers. The needle valve seat is in the chamber, below where the needle valve sits.
