Instructions

Lift up the hood of your Tacoma and locate the battery. Use a socket wrench to remove the bolt attached to the negative terminal clamp. Lift the negative cable off the clamp and away from the battery.

    • 2

Locate the rear housing cover panel for the running lights underneath the hood at the very from of the vehicle.

    • 3

Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the cover. Unhook the electrical wiring attached to the running light with your hands. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the two screws which hold the running light cover in place. Lift the cover away from the light housing.

    • 4

Take out the screws which fix the running light in to its housing within the front of the Tacoma. Remove the running light away from the vehicle. Repeat the process on the second running light.

    • 5

Insert the casing of the fog light in to the front of the Tacoma. Use a screwdriver to attach the screws which fix the fog light to the vehicle. Put on a pair of protective gloves. Insert the halogen bulb in to the fog light casing. Place in the light connector and turn in a clockwise direction until it fixes in place. You must wear gloves as the natural oil on your hands can break the halogen bulb.

Place the front cover of the fog light over the casing and attach the two mounting screws to fix it in place. Connect the electrical connectors to the rear of the fog light and close the rear cover panel to secure the fog light in place. Repeat the process to install the second fog light.

Reconnect the negative cable to the battery terminal. Turn on the engine and engage the hazard lights to check that the new fog lights work correctly.
