Instructions for the GBC C210e Binder Machine

The GBC C210e is an electric binding machine that binds documents with plastic comb binding. The machine will punch up to 20 pages of 20-lb. letter-sized paper at a time. Guides help insure all pages are punched in the same place, so that the edges of your booklet line up neatly. One person can operate the C210e binder machine. The machine uses plastic comb binding from 1/4 inch to 2 inches in diameter.

Instructions

      Insert up to 20 sheets of letter sized paper into the paper punch slot on the front of the machine. The side of the paper you want bound should be in the machine. Place the side of the paper flush against the edge guide.

      Press the punch button. The machine will punch holes to receive the comb binding in all sheets. Remove the punched sheets from the binder. Repeat this process until all your sheets are punched.

      Insert up to two plastic cover sheets into the punch slot of the binder. Align the edge with the guide. Press the punch button to punch holes in the cover sheet.

      Make sure the binding hooks are aligned together in the closed position. Insert a plastic comb binding with the rings facing up and the opening toward you.

      Open the comb binding by turning the binding lever on the side of the machine counterclockwise until the binding rings are open.

      Slip the punched pages of the your document onto the binding rings. The plastic binding rings should fit into the holes you punched previously. Top with the plastic cover sheet.

      Close the binding rings by turning the binding lever clockwise until the rings are closed and secure.

      Lift the bound document off of the binding hooks.
