How to Update ESXi 3.5
If you are using a computer that is connected with the VMware ESXi 3.5 server, as an administrator, you can manually update the server for the latest patches. Click the "Start" button from the desktop and select the "Programs" option. Click the "VMware" option.

Click the "VMware Infrastructure Update" option and the update application will launch on the screen.

Click the "Hosts" tab and click on the box next to the "ESXi 3.5" server so that it's selected.

Select the "Updates" tab and then click the "Check Now" button. A list of updates will appear.

Click the "Install Updates" option and the update process will occur. Enter your username and password for the server and then click the "OK" button. The update will complete.
