How to Edit an Access 2003 Database Tutorial
Microsoft Access 2003 is a database management program included in the Office 2003 suite. It offers advanced database management tools in a relatively intuitive interface. While this complicated programs offers literally hundreds of editing options, there are several basic tools that should get you started.

Open the database you wish to edit.

Click on an individual data cell to edit. Simply selecting it and typing will write over the current content. Double-clicking it lets you edit the existing text.

Click the column name at the top of a column to select the whole column. Press "Delete" to delete it or use your mouse to drag it left or right to change the position.

Click the row name at the left of a row to select the whole row. Press "Delete" to delete it or use your mouse to drag it up or down to change the position.

Click "Insert" to insert a row or column for another database. You can also merge two databases from this menu in Access 2003.

Create a Query by clicking the "Query" button. This allows you to select and view several data constraints at once and compare and edit them together. This is particularly useful for large databases where you cannot see every column and/or row all at once on your screen.
