How to Customize Ringbacks in VoiceDuck

Customize ring back tones by visiting your wireless carrier's website.

VoiceDuck is an independent telecom Web portal that allows you to purchase various wireless, land-line or broadband plans at discounted prices. In addition, you can use VoiceDuck to customize the ring back tones on your phone, if you have the feature enabled on your device. A ring back tone plays music for a caller before you answer the phone. Customizing your ring back tones allows you to showcase a bit of your personality via your mobile phone.

Instructions

1. Visit your wireless carrier's website and sign into your account.

2. Select the option "Shop" followed by "Music" or "Ringtones."

3. Search through the various categories until you find a song that you want to add to your phone as a ring back tone.

4. Click the option "Buy" and enter your credit card information. Depending upon your wireless carrier, the charge may be billed to your wireless account.

5. Select the option to use the music as a ring back tone when prompted to do so. Depending upon your wireless carrier, you may be instructed to select the part of the ringtone that you want the caller to hear. If prompted, use the interactive menu to complete this task.

6. Click the option to preview your ring back tone, and then click the option to activate the tone on your wireless account. When callers contact you, the tone will play for them.

Tips & Warnings

• Depending upon the model of your mobile phone, you may be able to download ring back tones from third-party websites.

• Some carrier's charge an additional one-time or monthly fee for use of a ring back tone. Make sure you check with your carrier to know how much they charge.
