How Do I Use Winzip to Unzip Files?
WinZip is a compression utility for both the Windows and Mac OS X operating systems. It can also be used to extract any ZIP file, even if it was not compressed using the WinZip utility. Zip files are files that have been archived and compressed using the ZIP file format. Extracting this type of file is often called "unzipping" the file.

Download and install the "WinZip" software for your operating system (see Resources).

Locate the ZIP file you want to extract on your computer.

Double-click on the file.

Click the "1-Click Unzip" button. The files will be extracted and a folder will open showing the contents of the file.
