How to Remove the Notifications for Blocked Pop-Ups in Firefox

The Mozilla Firefox Web browser comes with a built-in popup blocking tool that is turned on by default. This tool lets users block advertisements that appear as they surf the Internet. Every time a popup is blocked, a notification displays at the top of the Web page. If you don't want to see this notification, it is possible to turn it off.

  Launch the Firefox browser. Navigate to a website that uses pop-up windows so that a pop-up notification appears at the top of the page.

  Click the "Options" button in the status bar, next to the notification.

  Click the option "Don't show this message when pop-ups are blocked." Notifications are now disabled.
