Find poetry book publishers accepting submissions. Look through a list of poetry book sites for submission links. When you find them, send them your best poetry. Competition in these books is be very hard, so only send them poetry that is crisp, edited and meets the guidelines that the publisher is looking for. Your poetry will be thrown out if it is sloppily worded and does not meet their guidelines.

Create a chapbook containing nothing but your poetry. Chapbooks are basically sheets of standard-sized paper folded in half and stapled in the center. Usually, chapbooks are 32 pages long. You can type your poems onto your computer and print them off in a chapbook format using a standard computer printer.

Self-publish a full-sized poetry book. With the age of the Internet rose self-publishing companies such as Lulu, CreateSpace and Self Publishing, Inc. On one of these sites, you will upload your poetry, design your own cover and the layout of the book. You will then set the price and be given a storefront to send people to where they can buy the book.
