How to Turn Off the Colors on an HP OfficeJet 7590

Your HP OfficeJet 7590 all-in-one printer allows you to print in rich color, but if you don't need color printing, you can save colored ink by selecting grayscale printing instead. Grayscale printing effectively turns colors off and transforms any colors into the closest shade of gray. Although you may have found this option when printing from individual programs, those selections will not persist. To change the default preferences to grayscale, you need to make the selection directly from Windows Control Panel.
