How to Troubleshoot a Dacor Oven

You can solve minor performance problems with your Dacor wall oven without having to set up a service call. When you're entertaining, or cooking a quiet dinner for your family and the oven starts to act up, calling a repair person is anything but convenient. Problems such as a loss of power or inconsistent cooking temperatures don't need to cause you any anxiety if you fix them yourself.

  • Inspect your circuit breaker panel to see if the breaker for the oven has been tripped if nothing on the oven is working.

  • Press "Clock" and then "Time-Temp" to set the correct time of day on the oven if it won't heat. Press "Cancel-S" to cancel the delay timed cooking feature if it's on.

  • Adjust the oven temperature, time, or rack position if your food is overcooked or undercooked. Press "Bake" and then "Time-Temp" to set the temperature. Set it to 500 degrees Fahrenheit or higher, and then press and hold the "Bake" button for five seconds until the temperature reading displays "00."

  • Close the door tightly so the latch locks properly if the self clean feature isn't working.
