Warcraft II is a challenging real-time strategy game. You may occasionally need an edge to get you through tough scenarios.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Instructions

Step 1

Access Chat mode by pressing the Enter key while the game is running to input these cheat codes.
Step 2

Type GLITTERING PRIZES to get free gold, lumber and oil if you're as poor as a landless noble.
Step 3

Type MAKE IT SO to accelerate building now that you're rich and you need to put those resources into play as quickly as possible.
Step 4

Type SHOWPATH to reveal the entire map and allow you to find the enemy.
Step 5

Type IT IS A GOOD DAY TO DIE to make your units invincible, because you've found the enemy, but now you're getting beaten to a pulp. (A couple units can still hurt you, but you have to find those out for yourself.)
Step 6

Type UNITE THE CLANS to win the scenario if these cheats are still not enough to get you a victory.

Tips & Warnings

Practice. Warcraft II is a fairly complex strategy game, and the only way to practice is to play until you know the most efficient tactics and can anticipate the enemy's moves.
Explore. Once you have quite a few units, get out and look around. If you explore the map carefully, you'll have a big edge on your opponent.
Be aggressive. The computer player in Warcraft is fairly cautious. You'll usually have to take the battle to the enemy rather than sitting back and waiting for the battle to come to you.
You won't learn the secrets and strategies of Warcraft II by cheating. Use these codes only to get through especially tough stretches or run a little damage control when you identify a mistake you've made.
