How to Organize Your Tool Box: What Goes Where?
A toolbox can quickly become a cluttered mess, but there are ways to organize your toolbox so that it does not get out of hand. By organizing your toolbox, you will be better able to find your tools and more easily get on with your work. Does this Spark an idea?

Determine what you need in your toolbox. If you have many duplicate tools, then place only one or two of one type in your toolbox. This will give you more room to store other needed tools.

Sort all items in your toolbox. For instance, place all nails in the same drawer. You could also place the hammer with the nails. This will make it easier to find similar tools and hardware when you need them.

Place larger and heavier tools at the bottom of the toolbox. If you place these items in the higher drawers, the weight will make it harder to open the drawers below them.

Add tool organizers. With aides such as socket organizers, it's less likely your tools will spill all over.
