Determine the toaster size that your family needs. The Dualit Vario Toaster offers two-, three-, four- and six-slot models. Each has a selector control that allows you to heat less slots than featured. For example, on the six-slot toaster, you can heat two, four or all six slots.

Consider what you will be toasting. Dualit Vario offers toasters, combi toasters, bun toasters and sandwich toasters. The combi toasters have regular toaster slots and one or two sandwich cages, depending on size. The bun toasters toast one side of the bun, bagel or teacake while warming the other. The sandwich toaster, available in a two or four-slot version, features a drip tray for catching any butter, cheese or other filling.
