How to Get a Blocked Phone Number

Caller ID block is a feature that restricts your phone number from appearing on the called party's caller ID. There are two types of caller ID blocks: temporary and permanent. Temporary block can be activated from your handset and it only restricts your number from appearing during your present call. For permanent caller ID block, you must contact your network provider (for instance, Sprint, Verizon or AT&T).

Instructions

1. Activate temporary caller ID block on your phone by dialing *67.

2. Dial the number. Your phone number will not be visible to the called party.

3. Block your phone number permanently by contacting your network carrier's customer support.
