Tips & Warnings
Use recording software that allows multi-tracking. Multi-tracking allows users to record elements of a recording at different times and then to combine into one finished product. For example, recording the vocals in one session and recording instrumentation in another session.
Monitor the loudness of the music through indicators on software to avoid clipping. Clipping is a distorted sound that occurs when the volume of the music is too loud.
