How to Adjust an Idler for a Toro S200 Snowblower
The Toro S200 is a snow blower manufactured by the lawn tool company. The small gas-powered motor on your Toro snow blower comes equipped with a mixture adjustment screw that can either restrict or allow the flow of fuel to the snow blower's carburetor. If the idle seems off on your Toro snow blower, this screw can be adjusted by using a screwdriver. This adjustment corrects the idle on the snow blower if it is not running smooth. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Locate the adjustment screw and turn it clockwise until it will not turn any more. Do not tighten it too tight because this can damage the screw and seat. Once it comes to a rest, turn the screw again one full turn counterclockwise, or to the left.
-
2
Start your snow blower and allow it to run for approximately five minutes. Let it run for 10 minutes if you are starting it cold.

3
Turn the screw clockwise until the snow blower sounds as if it is idling fast or high and then note this position. Next, turn the screw until the engine begins to sound like it may sputter out and die.
-
4
Adjust the screw to the halfway point between these two positions, or until it sounds as if the snow blower is idling at an adequate pace.
