How to Register a Booster on Firefox

Firefox Booster is a Firefox add-on.

Firefox is one of the most popular Web browsers because of its versatility and tweaking options. Firefox Booster is a small and simple application that speeds up Mozilla Firefox. You register Booster on Firefox by installing it in Firefox and setting the speed options for your Internet Service Provider, such as if you have a DSL, cable or dialup connection.

Instructions

1. Download Firefox Booster and save the file to your desktop. Click on the setup file and the installation starts.

2. Select your language and click "OK." Click "Next" on the "Welcome to Firefox Booster Set Up" screen, and then click "Install." Click "Finish" when the install process is finished. Make sure "Launch Firefox Booster" is checked. Firefox Booster opens on the screen.

3. Close Firefox by clicking the "X" in the upper right-hand corner if it is open. Select your Internet Speed mode -- Fast, Medium, Slow -- which is symbolized by the image of a car.

4. Click the "Optimize" button and a dialog box opens "Firefox has been optimized successfully." Click "OK" to close the box. Firefox Booster has now changed the current configuration of Firefox to better suit your Internet connection type.

5. Click the "Miscellaneous Firefox Tweaks" tab. You can optimize Firefox even more by disabling blinking text, turning off error message displays. Select the options you want and click the "Optimize" button. Click "OK" to close the dialog box, and then close Firefox Booster by clicking the "X" in the upper right corner.
