How to Locate History on the Internet

Especially on shared computers, sometimes you may not want your recently viewed websites to be common knowledge. Internet Explorer maintains a history of every single Web page you have visited until you clear it out. Before you can clear out select pages, however, you must know how to locate your Internet history. This can be done in one of two different ways.

Instructions

    • 1

Locate the star icon on the toolbar. Click the icon for a sidebar to appear.

    • 2

Click "History" from the list of options in the sidebar.

    • 3

Press "Ctrl" and "H" simultaneously as an alternate way to locate your Internet history.
