Instructions

  1. Baking in an oven

    • 1

Cover the frozen pot pie crust's edges with strips of foil to prevent them from burning.

    • 2

Use a knife to cut a 1-inch slit in the center of the pot pie's top crust to allow the product to vent. Place the pot pie in the middle of a metal baking sheet.

    • 3

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Place the baking sheet on the oven's middle rack and bake the pot pie for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.

    • 4

Set the frozen pot pie on a microwave-safe plate if you plan on cooking it in a microwave; do not cover the crust edges with foil. Cut a 1-inch slit in the middle of the top crust for venting purposes.

    Cooking in a microwave

    • 5

With a knife, make a small slit in the center of the pot pie so that steam can escape during the microwaving process.

    • 6

Set the pot pie in the center of the microwave. Microwave the pot pie on "High" for four minutes.

    • 7

Allow the product to rest in the microwave for three minutes prior to removing it, to avoid burning yourself.
