How to Install Group Policy Client Side Extensions
When you are the administrator for computers connected to a Windows server, then you manage the privileges given to users through the Group Policy Management Console. With the Group Policy client-side extension downloaded for your server, you can further centrally manage installation of software for all of the connected client computers. The client-side extension feature can be download and installed from the Microsoft Downloads website, and you must also validate that you are using an authentic Microsoft server before downloading.

Click the "Continue" button on the download page for the Group Policy Preference Client Extensions (See Resources).

Click the "Continue" button below the "Run the validation tool" section and then a pop-up window will appear with the validation code.

Use your mouse to highlight the code and then press the "CTRL" and "C" keys on your keyboard at the same time.

Click in the text box in the "Enter your validation code" section and then press the "CTRL" and "V" keys at the same time. Click the "Validate" button and you'll return to the main download page if the validation is successful.

Click the "Download" button and then select your language from the "Change Language" section. Click the "Change" button.

Click the "Run" button to run the installation automatically after the download finishes. Allow time for the installation process to complete and then click the "Finish" button.
