How do I Replace the Heat Sensor on an Amana Oven?
Amana ovens use a heat sensor to detect the internal oven temperature. The oven sensor is located on the top of the rear wall of the oven, between the broil element terminals. The sensor converts the temperature to ohms, which it then reports the the oven control board. The oven control board adjusts the temperature of the oven as needed. If the oven sensor fails to produce a reading, the oven will not heat to the correct temperature, and your food will not properly cook. Does this Spark an idea?
