How to Design a Drift Car

Drifting is a form of racing that came from Japan. Instead of emphasis on speed, the emphasis is on style. Cars are spun sideways around long corners in hopes of impressing the judges. Create a drift car in "Forza Motorsport 3" for the Microsoft Xbox 360. Buy a car from the list of hundreds included in the game that you want to redesign into a drift car. When buying a car, choose a lightweight one that is rear-wheel drive, as it will be easier to convert into a drift car. A Nissan 350Z is an appropriate choice for this.

Select "Forza Motorsport 3" from the main screen. Inside here, select the "Painting/Tuning/Upgrading" option. Add a paint job using the paint tool. Not only can you change the base coat, but you can add designs and shapes to the car. Upgrade the car. Buy lighter by buying lighter weight parts. You can also buy customizable body kits that will make your car stand out even more. This will help make the car drift easier. Tune the car. Select "Downforce" and decrease the amount of downforce so the car will more easily go sideways.

Build a drift car in "Need for Speed: Underground 2" for the PC, Sony PlayStation 2, Microsoft Xbox, Nintendo GameCube, Nintendo GBA, Nintendo DS, mobile phone and Sony PlayStation Portable. Purchase one of the many cars in the game, preferably one with rear-wheel drive. The Nissan Silvia is a good choice.

Take the car to one of the performance shops in the game. Add better engine parts that increase the car's torque. With more torque, you will be able to spin the car sideways quicker when you press down the accelerator. Take your car to a body shop. Customize the front end, the rear end, spoiler and side skirts. There are many different styles from which you can choose. Paint the car and add logos and designs to your car to make it look even more unique. With so many body parts and colors, you can design a car that no one else will ever create.
