You can also find condos for rent in Avalon at the Catalina Island Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau list of vacation rental agencies that have listings for the island.

2. Type in the city search box "Catalina Island" or "Avalon," and then "California" in the state search box. Enter any other information needed to complete the search, such as your arrival and leave date, and how many bedrooms you will need.

3. Sort the search results by price or rate. With this, you can place the lowest priced condo rentals at the top of the search list. For some websites, you may need to use the "advanced search" feature to sort by price or rate.

4. Compare the rental prices of different condos on different websites. No one travel website will list all the rentals, making it necessary for you to search several to find the lowest condo rental on Catalina Island.
