How to Fade a Picture in Paint
Microsoft Paint is one of the many presentations programs offered through computer system. The program allows you to create your own pictures and paintings with different brush tools, and you can use several different effects to enhance your art. With Microsoft Paint, you can fade your picture to provide for a more pixelated look, much like a watercolor painting.

1
Open the Microsoft Paint program, and then click "File" and "Open" on the program's main menu to access a Paint document. Select a file from the pop-up menu, and click "Open."
-
2
Select "Object" in the upper menu bar, click "Image," and then select "Create Image Object."
-
-
3
Type "36" into the resolution ppi field, and return to your painting. Drag the picture out into a larger rectangular size, stretching it across the entire screen.
-
4
Change the ppi to "300" in the "Image" menu, and drag your picture back to its intended size. The normal-sized picture is then more pixelated and faded, with a higher resolution on a smaller painting.
