1
Purchase a glass bottle large enough to hold six ounces from your local craft store. Use a bottle with a dark tint, as dark bottles will preserve perfume longer and keep light from weakening it. Make sure that the bottle has a sealable lid or cork, or else purchase a cork at the craft store that will fit the bottle.

2
Select one to three essential oils you like for your perfume. You don't want too many overwhelming smells in a perfume which is why three is a good maximum, or you could opt to do one for a basic scent.

3
Preheat your oven to 250 degrees Fahrenheit. While oven is preheating bring a quart of water to boil on the stove and boil your glass bottle for five minutes, then remove from heat, drain out water and run cool water over your bottle so that it is cool to touch.

4
Rinse out your glass bottle and clean it with some mild dishwashing soap and hot water. Rinse bottle and make sure all soap is removed. Place glass bottle on an oven-safe baking sheet and put it in the oven for 30 minutes.

5
Pour three ounces of vodka into your bottle and drop in your essential oils. If you are using one oil do about six drops. For two oils drop in three drops of each and for three oils add two drops each. Stir the mixture and set aside in a cool area for 48 hours.

6
Boil distilled water for ten minutes on the stove to insure removal of any impurities. Allow water to cool completely then pour it into your vodka-oil mixture and stir with a spoon again. Seal and let the mixture sit for three days before use.
