How to Enable Direct3D With the Geode LX
Microsoft Direct3D is an application programming interface (API) that allows for the control of 3D computing hardware, such as a 3D video accelerator card. It also provides computer users with a medium through which they can manipulate 3D objects via a graphical user interface. The Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) Geode LX is a system-on-a-chip (SOC) central processing unit (CPU). Enabling Direct3D on an AMD Geode LX-based device requires the installation of DirectX on Microsoft Windows.
