How to Repair a Viore Plasma

Determine the problem affecting your Viore television. If the TV won't turn on, check the power cable to make sure it is properly plugged into the power outlet.

Run your fingers along the length of the power cable while the TV is turned on and pinch the cable intermittently. If the power briefly comes on and off when you pinch a certain point, the power cable likely has a short. If this is the case, unplug the power cable from the outlet as well as the port on the back of the TV and replace it with a new one. If the problem lies with the picture quality, proceed to the next step.

Turn off your TV, unplug the power cable and place the TV face down on a sturdy work surface.

Use your Phillips screwdriver to remove all screws on the back panel of the TV. Remove the panel to expose the internal components inside.

Locate the power inverter board located directly next to the main circuit board. You will notice some cables plugged into ports on the top of the inverter board.

Check the wires on top of the inverter board and make sure they are secure. If they aren't, unplug them and plug them back in, making sure they are secure. Reassemble your TV and check the picture quality.
