How to Make Gradient Buttons for Fisheyes

The Fisheye lens can have a dramatic effect on how a scene looks.

The fisheye lens is a type of lens used in photography. This lens uses distortion around the outside of the frame to create a bubble effect, as if one is looking at the scene through a fish eye. If you want to use gradient buttons to connect to fisheye effects, you can do so using tools available online. A gradient button uses gradients that slightly changs color through the button, such as from CSS. They often have a glossy look.

Instructions

1. Navigate to Photoshopcs (see Resources). Click the "Download" button to download the gradient buttons you want, and make them available on your computer for use with fisheyes. These are free to use.

2. Visit the Gradient Image Maker (see Resources). Select the colors you want under the Color Selector in the top right and tweak the other settings, such as "Gradient Type" and "Orientation," to create your button. Click "Download" to download the gradient button you want to use for the fisheye.

3. Navigate to Dynamic Drive (see Resources). Select the gradient "Type," "Width" and top and bottom colors. The graphic on the bottom will change to show your button. Highlight the text under "Cut and Paste Text" to copy the button and paste it into your fisheye site.
