Instructions

    • 1

Lower the seat backs to provide more working space. Place a drop cloth over the bottom of the car floor to help catch debris.

    • 2

Use a screwdriver to remove the bolts holding the headliner in place, and remove it. Measure the dimensions of the sunroof you are installing and outline it on the top of the roof using tape.

    • 3

Remove the metal beam which spans the area where the sunroof will go using a metal grinder. Use the grinder to remove an additional inch from each side of the beam. Smooth down the rough edges with a file.

    • 4

Place the sunroof shade against the inside surface of the roof. Mark the positions of the attachment screws or bolts and drill holes at those points. Use a jig saw or sheet metal shears to cut away the area of the roof outlined by the tape.

    • 5

Lift the sunroof assembly onto the roof of the Dodge. If there is a separate gasket, install it around the edge of the opening. Attach the sunroof frame using the screws or bolts provided with the kit. Place a thin layer of sealant around the frame. Slide the glass sheet into the opening. Reattach the headliner with a screwdriver.
