Put the important pictures in the middle of the ribbon board first. These pictures, since they are in the middle, are the focal point of the board. Important pictures constitute as pictures of your family, best friends, career and personal inspirations. Slip the pictures into the ribbons, so that they are secure and will not fall out once you put the board on display.

Surround the important pictures with less important photos. The regular pictures are still important, but they are not the focal point of the ribbon board. Photos, such as landscapes, casual acquaintances and celebrities can occupy the edges of the ribbon board.

Position the images so that the important areas in each picture are being shown. For example, if you want to highlight your best friend and you in a picture, make sure that the outer pictures are not covering the two of you.

Allow photos to hang off the edges of the board. The ribbon wrap board does not have to be cookie cutter and stay within the board; going outside of the board's dimensions can give you more space for more images.
