How to Attach a Wakeboard Rack to an Insanity Pylon
Retrofitting a competition waterski boat into a wakeboarding machine is not rocket science. A true wakeboarder knows you need ballast, a pylon, good storage and tunes. Insanity Pylons makes a pylon that can be installed behind the center engine console in your direct-drive boat. The pylon allows ample height for airs and spins, but it does put a dampener on seating space and board storage. Enter -- the Skylon -- wakeboard rack. It clamps securely to your pylon, and holds up to four boards.

Tips & Warnings
Locktite is recommended on the installation of all screws. This will insure that the hardware will stay put with boat vibrations.
Before purchasing your wakeboard rack, check the diameter of your pylon, to ensure you buy the correct-size clamp.
Check the tightness of your rack before each use. A loose rack could cause boards to fall onto the head of the boat passengers.
