How to Clean Grout Haze With Household Cleaners
Grout, a combination of sand, Portland cement and coloring, is used to hold tile together. After you grout a floor or wall, a residue of grout haze or grout dust can cover much of the tile. Unfortunately, you have to clean up the grout haze before you can seal the grout, preventing it from collecting dirt and mildew. Luckily, vinegar cleans grout haze well. Does this Spark an idea?

Place vinegar into a spray bottle and spray the grout haze. Allow it to sit for two to five minutes.

Dip the microfiber cloth into vinegar and wipe it over the grout haze. Spray more vinegar as needed.

Scrub the grout haze lightly with a pumice stone to remove any stuck-on grout haze. Use plenty of water when scrubbing with the pumice stone to avoid scratching the tile.
