DIY Manure Fork Handle Replacements
Manure fork handles rot and wear out over time. The nail or screw that holds the handle to the forks might be the only thing that needs to be replaced. If the manure fork broke off the handle, manure fork handle replacements can be purchased at home improvement or hardware stores. Things You'll Need
- Phillips or flat screwdriver
- Claw hammer
- Vise-grip pliers
- New handle
- New fastening screw

Remove the screw or nail holding the broken or worn-out piece of the handle to the fork. Use a screwdriver to undo a screw and a claw hammer to pull out a nail. If the screw or nail won't budge, clamp a pair of vise-grip pliers on its head and pry it out.

Pull the broken or worn-out handle apart from the manure fork.

Slide the new handle into the mounting bracket on the fork. Line up the hole in the bracket with the hole in the handle. Thread a new screw into the hole with a screwdriver.
