Instructions

  1. Troubleshooting

    • 1

Inspect the gun if it refuses to shoot, or the fasteners do not set satisfactorily. Start by opening the fastener magazine. Press the spring release at the base of the handle and slide the clip open. Check to confirm that fasteners are present; if not, add fasteners. If there are, slide them to the top of the clip and inspect for obstructions or debris.

    • 2

Check the battery light on the left side of the handle. A green light will indicate charged battery. A red light will indicate a discharged battery. Turn the gun upside down to access the battery compartment. Press the locking tab, flip the cover open and pull the discharged battery out. Insert the fresh battery, contacts first and close the cover.

    • 3

Change the fuel cartridge if the gun still does not fire, or gives a dull thud, with no faster ejection. Pull down on the clip at the back of the nailer to open the gas cartridge chamber. Pull back on the canister until it comes loose. Pull it from the gun. Insert a new gas canister, pressing it in until it pops slightly into place. Close the clip.

    Replacing the Igniter

    • 4

Remove the four mounting screws holding the van vent to the rear of the tool; use an allen key. Turn the screws counterclockwise. Lift the grill from the back of the nailer and locate the thick red wire. Unplug it from the aluminum frame, pulling back firmly.

    • 5

Push in on the front of the black plastic cylinder and twist to remove it, exposing the spark plug. Pull down to release the plug.

    • 6

Insert a new spark plug into the boot. Reinstall the black plastic cylinder and plug the red wire back into the frame. Replace the rear cover and insert the mounting screws. Tighten them with the allen key. Install a fresh battery and gas cartridge and fill the fastener clip. Test-fire the tool. If problems persist, seek professional service.
