GM Tech 2: How to Clear History

The GM Tech 2 is a scanner that is used to diagnose technical problems with certain GM vehicles ranging from 1992 to 2010. Although using the scanner itself is a complicated process that should be done only by professionals or car enthusiasts with a working knowledge of the scanner, clearing the history data values for testing is a simple procedure.

      Turn on your scanner and select the "Body" option.

      Select "Park Assist Module," then "Special Functions."

      Select "Clear History Data."
