How to Set a Computer to Access ActiveX Going Through the Server
ActiveX objects are programs added to Internet Explorer. They are only compatible with Internet Explorer, so you must use the security features in Internet Explorer to allow the program to run through your website's server. Internet Explorer security blocks programs from sending data to servers, but you can override these settings by placing the ActiveX website server name in the list of allowable websites.
