How to Use Power Built 3 Gallon Air Compressor
The Powerbuilt 3 gallon air compressor is a home air compressor designed for use in your garage or home. Once you have purchased the Powerbuilt air compressor, you must first break it in before using it. Failure to properly break in the air compressor can lead to serious system malfunctions. The Powerbuilt three gallon air compressor comes with a ground attachment that fits around a standard electrical outlet.

Insert the ground adapter into the top electrical socket in a wall outlet. The small tab on the bottom of the adapter should fit around the screw in the middle of the outlet. This adapter protects you and your air compressor in the event of an electrical short circuit.

Plug the power cord into the adapter.

Remove the red plastic oil breather plug and remove the cover to the oil reservoir.

Pour the oil into the reservoir and watch the oil sight level. Stop pouring oil when it reaches the center of the red circle on the sight level.

Turn the pressure regulator knob clockwise to open airflow.

Set the power switch to "AUTO/ON" and allow it to run for 20 minutes.

Turn the tank drain valve slowly counterclockwise to bleed off the air from the tank. The air compressor will automatically shut off after a few minutes. The tank drain valve will be clearly labeled on the air compressor.

Turn the power switch to the "OFF" position.
