Directions for Siloo Diesel Fuel Conditioner
Vehicles that use diesel fuel can benefit from additives that help the fuel burn, especially when the weather dips below 50 degrees, the temperature at which the waxes in diesel fuel can start to gel. The Siloo Diesel Fuel Conditioner, now known as Siloo Diesel Fuel Therapy, helps blend the waxes at cold temperatures, causing it to burn more efficiently. A fuel-efficient diesel truck costs less to operate and has fewer emissions --- both significant benefits for the owner and operator.

1
Determine the size of the fuel tank. One 12-ounce bottle of Shiloo Diesel Tank Therapy with Anti-Gel treats 35 gallons. As of February 2011, the fuel comes in 12- or 30-ounce bottles and in 1-, 5- and 55-gallon containers.

2
Wait until the fuel tank is nearly empty before adding the Siloo Diesel Fuel Therapy to the tank to get the most thorough distribution of the additive throughout the diesel fuel.

3
Add the fuel additive in the proportion suitable for your fuel tank. Since 12 ounces treats 35 gallons, the treatment proportions are 2.92 ounces for every gallon. A 75-gallon fuel tank requires 219 ounces. Since a gallon weighs 128 ounces, the amount to use for 75 gallons would be approximately 1.75 gallons.
