DIY Kitchen Pantry
When your pantry is cluttered and disorganized, it can make preparing meals and maintaining your kitchen difficult. Things You'll Need
- Broom
- Washcloth
- Mop
- All-purpose cleaner
- Bucket
- Sealable, clear storage containers
- Labels
- Marker
- Baskets

Remove all of the items from your pantry and sweep the floor with a broom. Wipe down the shelves with a washcloth.

Mop the floor, using an all-purpose cleaner. Wipe down the shelves, using the cleaner and the washcloth. Allow the floor and the shelves of the pantry to dry completely.

Arrange all of the canned items onto a shelf with the labels facing outward. Stack the cans in order of use and place multiples of cans together. This enables you to use the cans in a more efficient manner.

Pour dry goods into individual containers. Use clear, sealable containers that are air tight and allow you to see what is inside. This will keep your dry goods looking uniform, while preventing bugs and other pests from getting into the food stores.

Place a label to the front of each container. On the label, write what is inside in a simple way. Place the containers on the shelves in your pantry with the labels facing out.

Place a few baskets on a shelf in the pantry in which you can store potatoes, onions and garlic. This allows you to keep the produce organized in a visually pleasing way.
