Though tiles are relatively easy to clean, they must be treated gently; harsh abrasive cleansers and brushes can scratch and damage grout and tiles. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Choose a tile cleanser based on the amount of build-up in your pool and your pool manufacturer's recommendations. Choose a non-abrasive all-purpose chlorine-based cleanser for light dirt and deposits. If your tiles have a heavy mineral buildup, use a non-abrasive tile cleanser with phosphoric, hydrochloric or hydroxyacetic acid. Alternately, The Pool Janitor recommends CLR (calcium, lime and rust remover) for heavy mineral buildup.
