How to Install Kouki Lights

Ensure that the Kouki light you want to install are compatible with your specific car make and model. If you are unsure, consult the shop from where you are purchasing the Kouki lights.

Determine how you must go about taking off the light that is currently installed in your car. For instance, depending on your car's make and model, you may have to unscrew the piece from the outside or from the inside of the car.

Unscrew the screws that are holding the light piece that is currently installed in your car. For example, tail light screws may be located on the outside of the tail light piece, or you may have to open the trunk to unscrew the screws holding the tail light. To uninstall the headlights, open the hood of the car and unscrew the screws holding the headlights or corner lights.

Unscrew any screws that may located inside the light itself. This applies to tail lights that are opened from the outside. With these types of lights, you must first unscrew the screws holding the lens and then the screws holding the piece itself.

Unscrew the bulb and pull out the piece. This doesn't apply for headlights or corner lights because they come out as a whole. On the other hand, tail lights may require you unscrew the bulb to be able to pull the piece out.

Detach the power cable that connects from the car to the light piece. Depending on your car model, you may have to unscrew or twist the connector to detach the cable. In some car makes, this cable connects directly to the light bulb; therefore, if you have already disconnected the light bulb, you will be able to take the piece off.

Place the Kouki light in the place where you removed the old light. Screw the screws you had previously unscrewed to hold the Kouki light in place. Connect the electric cable to the light.

Test your Kouki lights by turning them on.
