Close and lock the fiberglass screen door to keep it from moving. Open the glass window panel. Pull the panel all the way up until the bottom edge is freed from the sliding track. Set the glass window panel aside.

Gently lift the bottom edge of the window screen panel. The screen panel will lift only approximately 1/2 inch. Place your fingers under the bottom edge and pull toward you. Once the bottom edge of the screen panel is free, lower it until the top edge is freed.

Set the screen panel face down on a table. Locate one of the ends of the spline. The spline is the black rubber along the edge of the screen, holding the screen in place. Place the tip of a screwdriver under the end of spline and lift it up.
