How to Make Your Own Tassimo Pods
Tassimo coffee makers allow a single cup of coffee to be brewed instead of an entire pot. This is accomplished with the Tassimo discs, small pods that contain a single serving of coffee. Discs for the Tassimo coffee maker can be made at home to not only save money, but also allow the maker to use his favorite brands and flavors of coffee. All that is required to make these discs are a favorite blend of ground coffee and ordinary eight cup coffee filters. Does this Spark an idea?

Locate a jar that has an opening that is approximately the same size as the Tassimo disc holder.

Place an eight cup coffee filter over the top of the jar.

Locate a measuring cup that is approximately the same size as the Tassimo disc holder as well.

Place the measuring cup upside down over the coffee filter and jar. Twist the measuring cup slightly to form into coffee filter and allow it to hold the grounds.

Gently lift the measuring cup and coffee filter off the jar and flip them over so the bottom of the measuring cup can be placed onto a flat surface.

Fill the formed coffee filter, which is still inside of the measuring cup, three quarters with finely ground coffee.

Fold the sides of the coffee filter on top of one another to form the pod.

Gently remove the filter and coffee grounds from the measuring cup and press down on the folded top slightly with your hand.

Place the homemade disc into the designated area with the folded sides up and brew the coffee according to that model's instructions.
