How to Find Out What Is Going on in Currency Trading
Researching the foreign exchange markets is an incredibly challenging process, in large part because of the influence of central banks on relative monetary values. There's a loose correlation with the strength of a currency and the size and growth of an economy, but alterations in interest rates, political tensions and unpredictable business events can all have major effects on foreign exchange markets. For those reasons, it's extraordinarily challenging to conduct fundamental analysis on the foreign exchange markets. There are, however, methods for learning about foreign exchange news.

1
Learn the basics about the foreign exchange markets through websites, trader communities and books on the topic. As a side project, it's also wise to learn about central banks and their role in the currency markets. These issues are tremendously complicated, so it may take an extended period of concentrated reading to learn about this market.

2
Monitor international news sites, trader news sites and information through community networks. Select a certain currency pair to specialize in, or a small group of currency pairs, to reduce the amount of time that you need to spend focusing on the market. Depending on whether you're a short-term trader, following regular news updates as they come in will differ in level of importance.

Watch market movements carefully in real time. Large market movements can appear with little warning. The 24-hour nature of the currency markets also makes it more challenging to monitor. Most successful traders have tight risk controls and systems for trading to protect themselves from swings in the market.
