Search for coupons known as "blinkies" while shopping. These typically are found in grocery or pharmacy aisles next to the corresponding product. The coupon dispenser normally is red with a small, blinking light to attract your attention. Blinkies can be used during your present visit to the store or saved for later.

Sign up for updates from coupon and free-sample sites, such as coupons.com, mysavings.com and redplum.com. Most will send you an email when a new coupon or free sample is available. The sites generally have printable coupons available as well.

Check out your favorite brand's home page for coupon and sample offers. For example, Dove often updates its site with offers of free samples of its body wash and deodorant. If there is not a coupon available to be printed, it often is mailed along with a free sample.

Tips & Warnings
Print out the coupon policies of chain stores from their Web sites to refer to when you have a question while shopping.
It is tempting to print every coupon and to buy a product because you have a coupon for it. Resist this urge. Only buy items you need or will use. Monitor prices and only buy an item when it is at its lowest price.
