Measure the height of your indoor water fountain, and decide how high on the wall you want to place it. Cut a piece of cardboard to correspond with the general size and shape of your fountain. Tape the cardboard shape on your wall to find the exact spot where you want to install the fountain. Mark the spot with a pencil.

Read the mounting instructions that came with your indoor water fountain. Depending on the size and type of fountain that you have, you may be able to screw the unit directly into the wall. Hang the fountain from the brackets or hooks if necessary before filling and plugging in the unit.

Tips & Warnings

  • Most indoor water fountains protrude at least 6 inches, possibly more. Install the fountain in a spot where people won't bump into it.

  • Consider having a ground fault circuit interrupter electrical plug installed as a safety feature, which offers protection against electrical shocks. This risk is higher because of the presence of water.
