How do I Clip on Plastic Barrel Clasps?

Barrel clasps hold necklaces or bracelets together. They have a screw on one end and a fitting in the other end for the screw. Barrel clasps can be made of metal, wood or plastic. Most plastic barrel clasps are used in plastic-bead jewelry and strung on a necklace or bracelet with the other beads.

Things You'll Need

• Jewelry thread

Instructions

1. Push the end of the beaded jewelry thread through one side of the plastic barrel clasp and tie a knot at the end to hold it in place.

2. Push the other end of the beaded jewelry thread through the other side of the plastic barrel clasp and knot the end.

3. Screw the two sides of the plastic barrel clasps together to connect them.
