A Razor scooter is a two-wheeled kick scooter that conveniently folds in half for storage. The basic Razor scooter consists of an aluminum frame with two handle bars and a skateboard-like deck. Users steer using their hands and body as they push off the ground with their feet. Razor USA reports sales of more than 20 million scooters since their introduction in 2000. Customize your Razor to make your scooter stand out among a pack in your neighborhood or local park.

Instructions

    • 1

Wipe the exterior of the Razor with a damp cloth. Make sure to remove any dust and dirt from the scooter.

    • 2

Place brightly colored grips on the handle bars of the scooter. The color of the handle bar grips that come standard on the Razor scooter vary depending upon the model you have purchased. Replacing the grips with those of your choice makes the scooter unique.

    • 3

Replace standard Razor wheels with brightly colored wheels or wheels that illuminate. Multicolored wheels give the scooter a kick of personality, setting it apart from other Razor scooters.

    • 4

Attach a carrying case to the scooter's handlebars. There are may types of bags available for purchase. Most models simply attach by hook-and-loop fasteners to the front of the scooter. The bag will allow you to transport items along with your scooter.

    • 5

Select unique grip tape for the deck of the scooter. Razor has many styles for sale in its accessory line. Grip tape from other companies can also be cut to fit your Razor scooter deck.
